ZE2774-BE Isolated Buck Transformer

The ZE2774-BE iso-buck boost converter transformer is optimized for the STEVAL-6986YT2DL reference design and built around the A6986I from STMicroelectronics. It supports a 5 V to 24 V input voltage range and delivers dual isolated outputs with two secondary windings. The typical output voltages, +6 V and -3 V, are designed to match the requirements of GaN gate drivers. The solution provides 1500 Vrms isolation voltage and functional insulation, with options for basic or reinforced insulation available on request. It is AEC-Q200 qualified, making it suitable for automotive and industrial power applications. For SiC MOSFET gate drivers, please refer to the ZD2020-AE transformer.

  1. Inductance is for the primary, measured at 250 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc.
  2. Isat: DC current that causes the primary inductance to drop 30% from its value without current.
  3. Leakage inductance is for the primary with the secondary windings shorted.
  4. 1500 Vrms, one minute isolation (hipot) between primary and secondary.
