The HTX8045 transformer introduces a chip-style construction that represents an advancement over traditional core and bobbin designs. This innovative approach not only reduces the size of the component, but also streamlines it for a highly automated manufacturing process, resulting in a more cost-effective solution. The HTX8045 is particularly well suited for use in gate drive circuits and isolated SPI communication in both industrial and automotive applications. It offers higher isolation voltage compared to the HTX7045.

  • 5.9 mm creepage and clearance Material Group IIIa (175 ≤ CTI < 400)

Notes

    Turns ratio:  A =  1 : 1, C = 1 : 2
  2. Inductance measured at 100 KHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc on an HP4263B (or equivalent).
  3. DCR is measured on an HP4263B (or equivalent).
  4. Leakage inductance is measured at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms on an HP4263B (or equivalent) with the other winding shorted.
  5. Interwinding capacitance is measured at 250 kHz, 0.1 Vrms on AT3600/AT5600 across pins 1-4 with 2,3 open.
  6. Volt-time is for reference and calculated with 2400 Gauss.
  7. 5000 VDC / 3535 Vrms; one minute isolation (hipot) measured between primary and secondary.

Termination:

  • RoHS compliant tin over nickel over silver glass frit.

Packaging:

  • C = 7" machine-ready reel
