PoE Signal Path Transformer

  • Exceeds the return loss requirements of Gbit Ethernet
  • Designed to meet upcoming IEEE802.3bt high power PoE standard
  • Designed for 150 W 4-pair signal path with 1.5 A on each center tap.
    1.5 A DC current applied to each cable side center tap causes a 15°C rise from 25°C ambient.
    This is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings.
  • 1500 Vrms, one minute isolation (hipot) winding to winding
  • RoHS-compliant. 260°C compatible. Tin-silver-copper over tin over nickel over phos bronze terminations

  Packaging: D = 13" machine-ready reel
EIA 481 embossed plastic tape (250 parts per full reel). Quantities less than full reel available: in tape (not machine ready) or with leader and trailer ($25 charge).

1 Typical temperature rise: 7°C with 800 mA; 10°C with 1000 mA dc current applied to one center tap of each isolation transformer.
2 Ambient temperature range: −40°C to +85°C with 1 A dc current applied
3 Storage temperature range: Component: −40°C to +85°C
Tape and reel packaging: −40°C to +80°C
4 Resistance to soldering heat: Max three 40 second reflows at +260°C allowing parts to cool to room temperature between cycles.

PCB washing: Tested to MIL-STD-202 Method 215 plus an additional aqueous wash. More info.
