The YA9215 planar transformer is specifically designed for use on the EV84C64A model 50 W interleaved LLC converter development board from Microchip. The planar design is constructed with flat coil windings and copper plates to offer high power density and higher current handling in a lower profile package compared with traditional wire wound transformers.
