Introducing the XGL3520 Series of Ultra-Low Loss Shielded Power Inductors by Coilcraft, the industry's leader in efficient power delivery. With the industry's lowest Direct Current Resistance (DCR) and ultra-low AC losses across a wide inductance value, these inductors deliver superior current handling and offer soft saturation characteristics, allowing for stable performance even under high currents.

The XGL3520 series is designed to endure harsh conditions. Compliance with AEC-Q200 standards ensures robust performance from -40°C to +125°C, making these inductors perfect for challenging environments including automotive and industrial applications. The series offers a broad inductance value from 0.1 µH to 4.7 µH, accommodating a wide array of system requirements. 

Committed to environmental responsibility, the XGL3520 series is RoHS-compliant and halogen-free. The terminations boast a Tin-silver (96.5/3.5) over copper construction, and are also available in COTS Plus tin-silver-copper and tin-lead terminations.   2. Inductance tested at 1 MHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc.
  3. DCR measured at 25°C on a micro-ohmmeter. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
  4. SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 4395A or equivalent.
  5. Isat: DC current at 25°C that causes the specified inductance drop from its value without current.

  6. Irms: Current that causes the specified temperature rise from 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings. Temperature derating curves.
    Irms testing was performed on 0.75 inch wide × 0.25 inch thick copper traces in still air. Temperature rise is highly dependent on many factors including pcb land pattern, trace size, and proximity to other components. Therefore temperature rise should be verified in application conditions.

Termination:

  • E = Halogen free component. RoHS compliant tin-silver over copper terminations.
  • T = RoHS tin-silver-copper (95.5/4/0.5). (Special order, added cost)
  • S = non-RoHS tin-lead (63/37). (Special order, added cost)

Packaging:

  • C = 7″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (1000 per full reel). Quantities less than full reel available: in tape (not machine ready) or with leader and trailer ($25 charge).
  • D = 13″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (3000 per full reel). Factory order only, not stocked.
