Coilcraft’s SLC7649S Series of high-current shielded power inductors feature sub-milliohm DC resistance and very high current handling.  Magnetic shielding and tight DCR tolerances make them ideal for low voltage multi-phase VRM/VRD/EVRD regulators and current sensing circuits.

  2. Inductance measured at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms using an Agilent/HP 4263B LCR meter or equivalent.
  3. DCR measured at 25°C on a micro-ohmmeter at the points indicated in this diagram. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
  4. SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 8753ES network analyzer or equivalent.
  5. Isat: DC current at 25°C that causes a 20% (typ) inductance drop from its value without current. Temperature derating curves.
  6. Irms: Current that causes 40°C temperature rise from 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings. Temperature derating curves.


  • L = RoHS compliant matte tin over nickel over copper.
  • T = RoHS tin-silver-copper (95.5/4/0.5). (Special order, added cost)
