The PA6512-AE z-axis coil is optimized for 13.56 MHz NFC/RFID tag applications and requires 85% less board space compared to antennas designed for a PCB, yet still has 50% of the read distance.
  • Optimized for use for the Z axis in Near Field Communications systems.
  • Evaluation was done using the STMicroelectronics CR95HF NFC Transceiver Reference boardwith the PA6512 connected to the STMicroelectronics M24LRxxE Dynamic NFC/RFID Tag.
  • Requires 85% less board space (123 mm2 vs 800 mm2) compared with antennas designed for a PCB yet still has approximately 50% of the read distance.
