The 016008F series is the world’s smallest wirewound ferrite chip inductor, designed for high-frequency applications where board space is constrained. With dimensions of just 0.5 x 0.25 x 0.38 mm, it achieves the breakthrough miniaturization without compromising high-impedance performance. The high impedance provides excellent RF isolation in cellular and wireless applications, while a DCR as low as 0.18 Ohms makes it ideal for RF choke and filtering applications. This enables compact devices such as smartphones, IoT modules, and wearables to achieve superior EMI suppression and signal integrity.

  1. Inductance measured at 7.9 MHz using a Coilcraft CCF1426 fixture in an Agilent/HP 4287 impedance analyzer with Coilcraft-provided correlation pieces.
  2. Impedance measured using an Agilent/HP 4991 with an Coilcraft CCF1481 test fixture.
  3. SRF measured using Agilent/HP 8722ES network analyzer and Coilcraft CCF1406 test fixture.
  4. DCR measured on Cambridge Technology micro-ohmmeter and Coilcraft CCF858 test fixture. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
  5. Current that causes a 40°C temperature rise at 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings.
