CSX7045 Series

SMT Current Sense Transformers

The CSX7045 series is a high-isolation, low-loss current sensing transformer designed for high-performance power electronics and automotive applications. It features a compact chip-style package with a low 5.3 mm profile, delivering consistent quality and cost efficiency.

With very low DCR, the series minimizes conduction losses and self-heating, making it ideal for high-current applications up to 20 A+. A wide range of turns ratios from 1:50 to 1:250 provides excellent design flexibility, while bandwidth up to 800 kHz enables accurate high-frequency current measurement in fast-switching systems such as DC-DC converters, motor drives, inverters, and power management circuits. Offering 1800 Vrms isolation, the CSX7045 is ideal for demanding automotive environments.

Hinweise

When ordering, please specify packaging code: e.g. CSX7045-250RC
Inductance is measured at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 ADC on an Agilent 4263B (or equivalent) with a Coilcraft CCF1546 test fixture.
DCR is measured on a Keithley 580 Micro-ohmmeter (or equivalent).
Volt-time product is for the secondary, between pins 3 and 4.
Primary current that causes a 40°C rise from 125°C.
Terminating resistance (R_T) value is based on 1 Volt output with 20 Amps flowing through the primary. Varying terminating resistance increases or decreases output Voltage/Ampere according to the following equation:
R_T (Ohms) = V_out × N_sec / I_in.
1800 Vrms, one minute isolation (hipot) between primary and secondary.
