CSX7030 Series

The CSX7030 series is a high-isolation, low-loss current sensing transformer designed for high-performance power electronics and automotive applications. It features a small chip-style package with an ultra-low 3.3 mm profile and is manufactured using a highly automated process to ensure consistent quality and cost efficiency.
 
With very low DCR, the series minimizes conduction losses and self-heating, making it ideal for high-current applications up to 20 A. A wide range of turns ratios from 1:50 to 1:200 provides excellent design flexibility, while bandwidth up to and beyond 1 MHz enables accurate high-frequency current measurement in fast-switching systems such as DC-DC converters, motor drives, inverters, and power management circuits. The CSX7030 is AEC-Q200 qualified, making it suitable for demanding automotive applications.

Hinweise
  1. When ordering, please specify packaging code: e.g. CSX7030-200RC
  2. Inductance is measured at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 ADC.
  3. Volt-time product is for the secondary, between pin 3 and 4.
  4. Primary current of 20 A causes less than 40°C temperature rise from 25°C ambient.  Higher current causes a greater temperature rise.
  5. Terminating resistance (RT) value is based on 1 Volt output with 20 Amps flowing through the primary. Varying terminating resistance increases or decreases output Voltage/Ampere according to the following equation:
    RT (Ohms) = Vout × Nsec / Iin.
  6. 1000 Vrms, one minute isolation (hipot) between primary and secondary.
