Power Inductors

Coilcraft DC1012 Series radial-leaded power inductors provide a low-cost, high-efficiency option for choke applications. They feature industry-standard lead spacing and are available in a wide range of inductance values and current ratings up to 9.5 Amps.

When ordering, please specify termination code: e.g. DC1012-334L
Inductance tested at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc.
DCR at 25°C. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
Isat: DC current at 25°C that causes the specified inductance drop from its value without current.
Temperature derating curves.
Irms: Current that causes the speicified temperature rise from 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings. Temperature derating curves.

Termination:

L = RoHS compliant tin-silver (96.5/3.5) over tin over copper over steel.
S = non-RoHS tin-lead (63/37). (Special order, added cost)

Soldering/Washing

Resistance to soldering heat:

Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.

PCB Washing:

Tested to MIL-STD-202 Method 215 plus an additional aqueous wash. More info.
