1008PS Series
High SRF, High Current Inductors

  • Higher SRF and than our other power inductors

  • Excellent current handling for a part this size

  • AEC-Q200 Grade 2 (−40°C to +105°C)
  • RoHS Compliant. 260°C compatible. Silver-palladium-platinum-glass frit terminations.

In an effort to simplify our part numbering system, Coilcraft is eliminating the need for multiple packaging codes. When ordering, simply change the last letter of your part number from B to C.
2 Inductance measured at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, using a Coilcraft SMD-A fixture in an Agilent/HP 4263B LCR meter with Coilcraft-provided correlation pieces.
3 Q measured at 1 MHz using an Agilent/HP 4291 with an Agilent/HP 16193 test fixture.
4 DCR measured at 25°C on micro-ohmmeter and Coilcraft CCF840 test fixture. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
5 SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 8753D network analyzer and a Coilcraft SMD-D test fixture. Details
5 Isat: DC current at 25°C that causes a 10% (typ)inductance drop from its value without current.

6 Irms: Current that causes a 40°C temperature rise from 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings. Temperature derating curves.
8 Ambient temperature range: −40°C to +105°C with Irms current.
9 Storage temperature range: Component: −40°C to +145°C
Tape and reel packaging: −40°C to +80°C
10 Maximum part temperature: +145°C (Ambient + temperature rise)
11 Resistance to soldering heat: Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.
12 Electrical specifications at 25°C.

PCB washing: Tested with pure water or alcohol only. Other solvents.
