PoE Isolated Flyback Reference Design

  • 1500 Vrms, one minute isolation primary and aux to secondary

1 Inductance is for the primary, measured at 300 kHz, 0.3 Vrms.
2 DCR is for the primary,measured at 25°C with the windings connected in series. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
3 Leakage inductance is for the primary windings with the secondary windings shorted.
4 Turns ratios is with the primary windings connected in series (pins 2 and 3 to be connected).
5 Ipk: Peak primary current drawn at minimum input voltage.
6 Aux winding output is 20 mV.
7 Ambient temperature range: −40°C to +105°C
8 Maximum part temperature: +145°C
9 Storage temperature range: Component: −40°C to +105°C
Tape and reel packaging: −40°C to +80°C
