The YA9215 planar transformer is specifically designed for use on the EV84C64A model 50 W interleaved LLC converter development board from Microchip. The planar design is constructed with flat coil windings and copper plates to offer high power density and higher current handling in a lower profile package compared with traditional wire wound transformers.

  1. Inductance is for the primary, measured on Agilent/HP 4284A at 800 kHz, 0.8 Vrms, 0 Adc with primary windings connected in parallel.
  2. DCR for the primary is measured with the windings connected in parallel. DCR at 25°C. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
  3. Leakage Inductance is for the primary, measured at 800 kHz, 0.8 Vrms, 0 Adc with primary windings connected in parallel and all secondary pins shorted.
  4. Volt-time product is based on primary windings connected in parallel.
  5. 500 Vrms, one minute isolation hipot) from primary to secondary.
