We will continue to manufacture and support the DS5022P indefinitely, however for new designs, we recommend the MSS1278 as an alternative. The MSS1278 series is more cost effective, features a smaller footprint, lower DCR and better current handling.

  • This series was always RoHS compliant; only the part numbers changed. Added characters indicate tolerance, RoHS compliance, and packaging.  View old data sheet.
  • Magnetically shielded
  • Designed for higher load currents – up to 18 A saturating current, 6.5 A rms
  • Very low DCR keeps power losses to a minimum
  • Robust temperature deflection prevents damage during solder reflow
  • End terminations for sound solder fillets and easy inspection
  • RoHS-compliant 260°C compatible. Electroplated gold (<50 µin) over nickel over phos bronze terminations.
  • COTS Plus tin-silver-copper and tin-lead terminations available

  1. When ordering, please specify termination and packaging codes: e.g. DS5022P-105MLD
  2. Inductance tested at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms.
  3. DCR measured at 25°C. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
  4. Isat: DC current at 25°C that causes a 10% (typ) inductance drop from its value without current. Temperature derating curves.
  5. Irms: Current that causes a 40°C temperature rise from 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings. Temperature derating curves.

終端処理:

  • L = Gold over nickel over phos-bronze.
  • T = RoHS tin-silver-copper (95.5/4/0.5)(Special order, added cost)
  • S = non-RoHS tin-lead (63/37). (Special order, added cost)

    EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (250 per full reel).
  • B = Less than full reel
