Compact SMT Ethernet Isolation Transformer

Coilcraft’s 1812TRX Ethernet isolation transformer features a fully automated construction, not only reducing cost but also increasing reliability. Its compact surface mount package measures just 4.7 x 3.31 x 3.1 mm, significantly smaller than traditional hand wound toroidal transformers. The 1812TRX is AEC-Q200 qualified, making it an ideal choice for automotive and other harsh-environment applications. It also meets Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000BASE-T and Power over Ethernet standards per IEEE 802.3, ensuring seamless integration into a variety of network environments.

Inductance is per winding, measured at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc using an Agilent/HP 4263B LCR meter and a Coilcraft CCF 1113 fixture.
1500 Vrms, one minute isolation (hipot) between primary to secondary.

IDC max per the center tap is the current required to increase the part temperature 15°C from ambient 25°C.
