0402FL (1005) Series

Wirewound Ferrite Beads

Our 0402FL Series of wirewound ferrite beads feature a low profile of 0.55 mm, which is 10% lower than competitive inductors. These were developed for cellular applications for use either as filter elements, as one-pole filters, or as RF chokes in the cellular bands. They are also great for eliminating high-frequency noise in power supplies.

  • High impedance across a wide bandwidth
  • Ferrite construction and heavy gauge wire for high current handling
  • Maximum height reduced to 0.55 mm – 10% lower profile than competitive products

  1. When ordering, please specify packaging code: e.g. 0402FL-561XJRW
  2. Inductance measured at 7.9 MHz using a Coilcraft SMD-F test fixture and Coilcraft-provided correlation pieces with an Agilent/HP 4286 impedance analyzer.
  3. SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 8753D network analyzer and a Coilcraft SMD-D test fixture.
  4. DCR measured on Cambridge Technology micro-ohmmeter and a Coilcraft CCF858 test fixture. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
  5. Irms: Current that causes a 40°C temperature rise at 25°C. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings. Because of their open construction, these parts will not saturate.
  6. Maximum current that can be applied at 85°C.
  7. Maximum current that can be applied at 125°C.
