CU8838-AL

High Current Shielded Power Inductor

Coilcraft's CU8838-AL power inductor is mechanically rugged and magnetically shielded for use in high-density circuits. Flat-wire construction provides excellent current handling and exceptionally low DCR, and soft saturation makes them perfect for VRM/VRD applications.

Inductance tested at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms using a Coilcraft SMD-A fixture and an Agilent/HP 4284A LCR meter.
DCR measured at 25°C. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator
SRF measured using an Agilent/HP4291A impedance analyzer or equivalent and a Coilcraft16193 fixture.
Isat: DC current at which the inductance drops the specified amount from its value without current. Details
Irms: Current that causes specified temperature rise from 25°C ambient. Details

D = 13″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (500 parts per full reel). Quantities less than full reel available: in tape (not machine ready) or with leader and trailer ($25 charge).
B = Less than full reel. In an effort to simplify our part numbering system, Coilcraft is eliminating the need for multiple packaging codes. When ordering, simply change the last letter of your part number from B to D.
