Surface Mount Power Inductors

New RoHS part numbers are shown. The products were always compliant; only the part numbers changed. Last three characters indicate tolerance, RoHS compliance, and packaging. (Old data sheet can be viewed here.)
  • Saturation current ratings up to 37 Amps
  • Exceptionally low DC resistance
  • Soft saturation for use in high-current DC-DC converters and VRD/VRM controllers
  • RoHS compliant. 260°C compatible. Tin-silver over copper terminations.
  • COTS Plus tin-silver-copper and tin-lead terminations available

2 Inductance measured at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, using a Coilcraft SMD-A fixture in an Agilent/HP 4263B LCR meter or equivalent.
3 SRF measured using an Agilent/HP4291A impedance analyzer and a Coilcraft 16193 fixture. Details
4 Isat: DC current at which inductance drops 20% (typ) from its value without current. Details
5 Irms: Current that causes a 40°C temperature rise above 25°C ambient. Details
6 Ambient temperature range: –40°C to +85°C with Irms current.
7 Storage temperature range: Component: –40°C to +85°C
Packaging: –55°C to +80°C
8 Resistance to soldering heat: Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.
9 Electrical specifications at 25°C.
