Dual Inductor for Class-D output filters

Coilcraft's GA3416-CL Series uncoupled dual inductors provide two back-to-back inductors that operate independently without coupling effects. This unique design saves space by combining two inductors in a single package. They are perfect for Class-D applications.

When ordering, please specify termination and packaging codes: e.g. GA3416-CLD
Inductance measured at 500 kHz, 0.5 Vrms, 0 Adc using an Agilent/HP 4284A impedance analyzer.
DCR measured on a micro-ohmmeter at 25°C. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
SRF measured using Agilent/HP 8753D network analyzer.
Total harmonic distortion + noise measured at 23 W into a 2-Ohm or 4-Ohm load at 1 kHz with a 21 Vdc supply.
Isat: DC current at 25°C that causes the specified inductance drop from its value without current.
Irms: Current applied to both windings at the same time that causes the specified temperature rise from 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings.

Termination:

L = RoHS compliant tin-silver over copper (leads); gold over nickel over phos bronze (additional mounting pads.
T = RoHS tin-silver-copper (95.5/4/0.5). (Special order, added cost)
S = non-RoHS tin-lead (63/37). (Special order, added cost)

Packaging:

D = 13″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (200 parts per full reel). Quantities less than full reel available: in tape (not machine ready) or with leader and trailer ($25 charge).
B = Less than full reel. In an effort to simplify our part numbering system, Coilcraft is eliminating the need for multiple packaging codes. When ordering, simply change the last letter of your part number from B to D.
