Planar Transformer
For Maxim MAX5069A

New RoHS part numbers are shown. Lead was removed from internal parts. The next to the last character is an L to indicate RoHS compliance. (View old data sheet.)
  • Developed for Maxim MAX5069A PWM Controller
  • For push-pull, half-bridge and full-bridge topologies
  • Ideal for use in high-current power supply applications
  • 1500 Vrms isolation - primary to secondary windings
  • RoHS-compliant. 260°C compatible. Matte tin over nickel over brass terminations.
  • Designed using Coilcraft Planar Prototyping Kit C356.

1 When ordering, please specify packaging code: e.g. B0860-CLD
  Packaging: D = 13" machine-ready reel
EIA 481 embossed plastic tape (200 parts per full reel).
B = Less than full reel
In tape, but not machine-ready. To have a leader and trailer added ($25 charge), use code letter D instead.
2 Inductance measured on an Agilent/HP 4284 between pins 2 and 4 at 250 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc
3 Leakage inductance measure between pins 2 and 4 at 250 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc with pins 6, 8 and 10 shorted.
4 Turns ratio is with the primary windings and the secondary windings connected in series.
5 Ambient temperature range: –40°C to +85°C
6 Storage temperature range: Component: –40°C to +85°C
Packaging: –55°C to +80°C
7 Resistance to soldering heat: Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.
8 Electrical specifications at 25°C.
Refer to Soldering Coilcraft Components before soldering.
