No-Opto Flyback Transformers

  • Optimized for Maxim’s MAX17690 No-opto Isolated Flyback Controller. Also ideal for similar ICs such as the Analog Device LT3748, LT3798 Isolated No-opto Flyback Controller
  • Designed for 125 – 150 kHz with 8 – 28 V or 18 – 60 V input
  • 1500 Vrms, 1 minute isolation (hipot) between primary to secondary
  • RoHS-compliant. 260°C compatible. Tin-silver-copper over tin over nickel over phos
    bronzes terminations.

EIA 481 embossed plastic tape (350 parts per full reel). Quantities less than full reel available: in tape (not machine ready) or with leader and trailer ($25 charge).
2 Inductance is for the primary, measured at 150 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc.
3 Isat: DC current that causes the primary inductance drop of 30% (typ) from its value without current.
4 Leakage inductance is for the primary winding with the secondary windings shorted.
5 Isolation (hipot) measured between windings for one minute.
6 Ambient temperature range: −40°C to +85°C
7 Max part temperature: +125°C (Ambient + temperature rise)
7 Storage temperature range: Component: −40°C to +125°C
Tape and reel packaging: −40°C to +80°C
8 Resistance to soldering heat: Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.
9 Electrical specifications at 25°C.
