RFB0810 Series
Power Inductors

We will continue to manufacture and support all values of the RFB0810 series indefinitely, however, for values >27 µH we recommend the RFC0810 for new designs. The RFC0810 series is a halogen-free, drop-in replacement for the RFB and offers lower DCR and better current ratings.

To order parts packaged in fanfold tape (800 parts per box), add the letter “F” at the end of the part number.
2 Inductance tested at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms: measured on an Agilent/HP 4263B LCR meter or equivalent.
3 DCR at 25°C. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
4 SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 4191A or equivalent. Details
5 Isat: DC current at 25°C that causes a 10% (typ) inductance drop from its value without current.

7 Ambient temperature range: −40°C to +85°C with (40°C rise) Irms Derating curves
8 Storage temperature range: Component: −40°C to +125°C
Packaging trays: −40°C to +80°C
9 Maximum part temperature: +125°C (Ambient + temperature rise)
10 Resistance to soldering heat: Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.
11 Electrical specifications at 25°C.

PCB washing: Tested to MIL-STD-202 Method 215 plus an additional aqueous wash. More info.
