RA68xx Ultra-Low DCR
Shielded Power Inductors

These parts are not recommended for new designs. They have been replaced by parts in the XFL3012 series, which are the same size, have very similar electrical characteristics and have the same recommended land pattern. The RA6854-AE, RA6855-AE, RA6856-AE and RA6831-AE are available only to existing customers (with previous order history). If you are a current customer, please click here for more information.

2 Inductance tested at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc.
3 DCR measured at 25°C on a micro-ohmmeter. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
4 SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 4395A or equivalent.
5 Isat: DC current at 25°C that causes the specified inductance drop from its value without current.
6 Irms: Current that causes the specified temperature rise from 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings.
7 Ambient temperature range: −40°C to +85°C with (40°C rise) Irms
8 Storage temperature range: Component: −40°C to +125°C
Tape and reel packaging: −40°C to +80°C
9 Maximum part temperature: +125°C (Ambient + temperature rise)
10 Resistance to soldering heat: Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.
11 Electrical specifications at 25°C.

PCB washing: Tested to MIL-STD-202 Method 215 plus an additional aqueous wash. More info.
