PFD2015 Series

Miniature Common Mode Chokes

RoHS compliant halogen free
Our PFD2015 Series miniature common mode chokes provide both common mode and differential mode filtering in a single device that measures just 2.29 x 1.52 x 1.5 mm. They are ideal for use in both power line and signal line applications, providing 250 Vrms, one minute winding-to-winding isolation.
  • Common mode and differential mode filtering in a single device
  • Compact package measures just 2.29 x 1.52 x 1.5 mm
  • Ideal for use in both power line and signal line applications
  • Up to 550 MHz differential mode cutoff frequency
  • 250 Vrms, one minute interwinding isolation
Refer to Designing Common Mode Filters for design guidance.

Notes
  1. When ordering, please specify packaging code: e.g. PFD2015-103MEC
  2. Frequency at which the differential mode attenuation equals 3 dB
  3. Inductance shown for each winding, measured at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc on an Agilent/HP 4284A LCR meter or equivalent.
  4. Irms: Current that causes a 40°C temperature rise from 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings.
  5. DCR is for each winding, measured at 25°C. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
  6. Interwinding isolation (hipot) tested for one minute.

Termination:

  • E = RoHS compliant silver-palladium-platinum-glass frit.
  • R = RoHS compliant matte tin over nickel over silver-platinum-glass frit(Special order, added cost)

Packaging:

  • C = 7″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (2000 parts per full reel).
  • B = Less than full reel. In tape, but not machine ready. To have a leader and trailer added ($25 charge), use code letter C instead.
  • D = 13″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape. Factory order only, not stocked (7500 parts per full reel).
