Low Profile Mini Spring™ Air Core Inductors

Our 1508/2508 Series low-profile Mini Spring™ air core inductors are AEC-Q200 Grade 3 (-40°C to +85°C) qualified and provide exceptionally high Q over a wide frequency range, while being less than 2/3 the height of our standard Mini Springs. Self-resonant frequencies are as high as 5 GHz in this series and they can handle as high as 4 Amps current.

  2. L and Q measured at 250 MHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 A using an Agilent/HP 4291A impedance analyzer with an Agilent/HP 16193A test fixture.
  3. Tolerances in bold are stocked for immediate shipment.
  4. SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 8753 network analyzer and a Coilcraft SMD-D test fixture.
  5. DCR measured using a micro-ohmmeter. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
  6. Current that causes a 15°C temperature rise from 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings.

  • C = 7″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (1000 parts per full reel). Quantities less than full reel available: in tape (not machine ready) or with leader and trailer ($25 charge).
  • B = Less than full reel. In an effort to simplify our part numbering system, Coilcraft is eliminating the need for multiple packaging codes. When ordering, simply change the last letter of your part number from B to C.
  • D = 13″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape. Factory order only, not stocked (3500 parts per full reel).
