The XGL3512 Series Ultra-Low Loss Shielded Power Inductors deliver performance with low DCR and ultra-low AC losses. They offer effective handling with soft saturation characteristics, adjusting optimally to various load conditions.  

Compliant with AEC qualifications, these inductors are built to endure temperatures from -40°C to +125°C, making them ideal for high-stress environments. The wide inductance value of 0.082 to 1.2 µH accommodates diverse applications, enhancing system efficiency.  

The XGL3512 Series also offers COTS Plus tin-silver-copper and tin-lead terminations, providing further versatility. Choose Coilcraft's XGL3512 Series for power inductors that combine robustness, efficiency, and flexibility.

  2. Inductance tested at 1 MHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc.
  3. DCR measured at 25°C on a micro-ohmmeter. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
  4. SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 4395A or equivalent.
  5. Isat: DC current at 25°C that causes the specified inductance drop from its value without current.

  6. Irms: Current that causes the specified temperature rise from 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings. Temperature derating curves.
    Irms testing was performed on 0.75 inch wide × 0.25 inch thick copper traces in still air. Temperature rise is highly dependent on many factors including pcb land pattern, trace size, and proximity to other components. Therefore temperature rise should be verified in application conditions.

Termination:

  • E = Halogen free component. RoHS compliant tin-silver over copper terminations.
  • T = RoHS tin-silver-copper (95.5/4/0.5). (Special order, added cost)
  • S = non-RoHS tin-lead (63/37). (Special order, added cost)

Packaging:

  • C = 7″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (1500 per full reel). Quantities less than full reel available: in tape (not machine ready) or with leader and trailer ($25 charge).
  • D = 13″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (5000 per full reel).
