Ferrite Chip Inductors

  • 5% tolerance now standard
  • Inductance values from 0.9 µH to 10 µH
  • Higher current rating and lower DCR than our other 1008 series
  • RoHS-compliant. 260°C compatible. Silver-palladium-platinum-glass frit terminations.
  • COTS Plus tin-silver-copper and tin-lead terminations available

In an effort to simplify our part numbering system, Coilcraft is eliminating the need for multiple packaging codes. When ordering, simply change the last letter of your part number from B to C.
2 Inductance measured at 2.5 MHz using a Coilcraft SMD-A fixture in an Agilent/HP 4286A impedance analyzer with Coilcraft-provided correlation pieces.

4 Q measured at 2.5 MHz using an Agilent/HP 4291A with an Agilent/HP 16193 test fixture.

6 DCR measured at 25°C on a Cambridge Technology Micro-ohmmeter. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
7 Isat: DC current at 25°C that causes a 10% (typ) inductance drop from its value without current.

12 Resistance to soldering heat: Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.
