1812LS Ferrite Chip Inductors
for xDSL Filters

New RoHS part numbers are shown. Cadmium was removed from terminations. The next to the last character is now L to indicate RoHS compliance. Also, 10% tolerance (K) is no longer offered. (View old data sheet.)

  • Wirewound design for high Q and low DC resistance
  • Ferrite construction for higher current carrying capacity
  • Inductance values from 12 µH to 180 µH (tolerances as low as 5%)
  • RoHS-compliant  260°C compatible. Silver-palladium-platinum-glass frit terminations.
  • Samples of all values are available in Coilcraft Designer's Kit C314

2 Inductance at 2.5 MHz measured using Coilcraft SMD-A fixture in Agilent/HP 4286A impedance analyzer with Coilcraft-provided correlation pieces. Inductance at 0.79 MHz measured using Coilcraft SMD-B fixture in Agilent/HP 4192A impedance analyzer with Coilcraft-provided correlation pieces.
3 Q read directly on Agilent/HP 4192A LF impedance analyzer and Coilcraft SMD-B fixture using Coilcraft-provided correlation pieces.
4 SRF measured using Agilent/HP 8753D network analyzer and Coilcraft SMD-D test fixture.
5 DCR measured on Cambridge Technology Micro-ohmmeter.
6 Irms: Average current for 15°C temperature rise from 25°C ambient.
7 Ambient temperature range: –40°C to +85°C with Irms current.
