1008LS Ferrite Chip Inductors
for xDSL Filters

New RoHS part numbers are shown. The products were always compliant; only the part numbers changed. Last three characters indicate tolerance, RoHS compliance, and packaging. (Old data sheet can be viewed here.)

  • Wirewound design for high Q and low DC resistance
  • Ferrite construction for higher current carrying capacity
  • Inductance values from 1.0 µH to 10 µH (5% tolerance)
  • RoHS-compliant. 260°C compatible. Silver-palladium-platinum-glass frit terminations.
  • Samples of all values are available in Coilcraft Designer's Kit C336

2 Inductance measured at 7.9 MHz using Coilcraft SMD-A fixture in Agilent/HP 4286A impedance analyzer with Coilcraft-provided correlation pieces.

4 Q measured using Agilent/HP 4291A with Agilent/HP 16193 test fixture.
5 SRF measured using Agilent/HP 8753D network analyzer and Coilcraft SMD-D test fixture.
6 DCR measured on Cambridge Technology Micro-ohmmeter.
7 Irms: Average current for 15°C temperature rise from 25°C ambient.
8 Operating temperature range -40°C to +85°C.
