PFL1610 Series
Shielded Power Inductors

For new designs, consider the PFL1609 as an alternative to this series. The PFL1609 offers much lower DCR and has the same footprint.
  • Ultra-small shielded power inductor – only 1 mm high, 1 × 1.8 mm footprint
  • RoHS-compliant, halogen free. 260°C compatible. Matte tin over nickel over silver-platinum-glass frit terminations

2 Inductance tested at 7.9 MHz, 0.1 Vrms using a Coilcraft SMD-F test fixture with an Agilent/HP 4286 impedance analyzer and Coilcraft provided correlation pieces.
3 DCR measured using a micro-ohmmeter.
4 SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 8753D network analyzer and a Coilcraft SMD-D test fixture.
5 Isat: DC current at which the inductance drops the specified amount from its value without current. Details
6 Irms: Current that causes specified temperature rise from 25°C ambient. Details
7 Ambient temperature range: –40°C to +85°C with Irms current.

8 Storage temperature range: Component: –40°C to +125°C
T&R packaging: –40°C to +80°C
9 Resistance to soldering heat: Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.
