Shielded Coupled Inductors

  • Ideal for use as coupled inductors in SEPIC applications DETAILS
  • Can be used as two inductors connected in series or parallel, or as a transformer
  • Saturation current rating up to 14.9 Amps! Low DC resistance provides high efficiency
  • 500 V isolation, winding-to-winding and winding-to-core
  • RoHS-compliant. 260°C compatible. Matte tin over nickel over phos bronze terminations
  • For a lower profile part, consider our MSD1260 coupled inductors
  • COTS Plus tin-silver-copper and tin-lead terminations available

3 Inductance tested at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc, on an Agilent/HP 4263B LCR meter or equivalent.
4 DCR is for both windings connected in parallel. DCR for each winding is twice the value.
5 SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 4191A network analyzer or equivalent. Details
6 Isat: DC current at which the inductance drops 30% (typ) from its value without current. Details
7 Irms: Current that causes a 40°C rise from 25°C ambient. Details
8 DCR is for both windings.
9 Ambient temperature range: –40°C to +85°C with Irms current.
+85°C to +125°C with derated current Derating curve
10 Storage temperature range: Component: –40°C to +125°C
Packaging: –55°C to +80°C
11 Resistance to soldering heat: Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.
