Surface Mount Power Inductors

New RoHS part numbers are shown. Lead was removed from internal connections. The last three characters indicate tolerance, RoHS compliance, and packaging. (View old data sheet.)

  • Saturation current rating up to 3.56 Amps
  • Low DC resistance for greater efficiency
  • Inductance ratings from 2.2 to 470 µH
  • RoHS-compliant. 260°C compatible. Matte tin over nickel over phos bronze terminations
  • COTS Plus tin-silver-copper and tin-lead terminations available
  • Samples of all values are available in Coilcraft Designer's Kit C359

2 Inductance measured at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms using an Agilent/HP 4263B or equivalent.
3 SRF measured using Agilent/HP 8753D network analyzer. Details
4 Isat: DC current at which the inductance drops the specified amount from its value without current. Details
5 Irms: Current that causes the specified temperature rise from 25°C ambient. Details
6 Ambient temperature range: –40°C to +85°C with Irms current.

7 Storage temperature range: Component: –40°C to +125°C
Packaging: –55°C to +80°C
8 Resistance to soldering heat: Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.
