Manufacturing Process Engineer
Coilcraft is an established (founded in 1945) worldwide company located in a far northwest Chicago suburb (Cary, IL). Coilcraft produces electronic components for customers in telecommunications, computers, instrumentation and consumer electronics.
We have an opening for a Manufacturing Process Engineer with the drive and enthusiasm to develop manufacturing methods and processes for Coilcraft. This position may be ideal for you if you are interested in being part of a leading company that has a worldwide reputation for service and quality.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop manufacturing methods and process for complex projects and product lines with a chance to work closely with the development group on new product/process designs and consult on methods of manufacturing as well as overseas manufacturing plants.
- Investigate, establish and implement requirements for equipment tooling, materials and methods of manufacturing including make or buy decisions and facility layout as required for new or revised products, from pilot runs through normal production.
- Ensure continuous improvements and cost saving reductions of existing processes and products.
Qualifications Include:
- B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 yrs. previous work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical skills with an understanding of machine building a plus.
