Coilcraft Terms & Conditions

The Terms & Conditions contained herein constitute the agreement between the buyer and Coilcraft's US sales office. International versions of this document may differ in order to meet local requirements, contact your local sales office for specific details.

Minimum Order   We appreciate all orders, so there is no minimum order requirement. However, a $10 handling fee will be added to orders of $100 or less. Upon request, orders for less than a full reel can be made machine-ready for a fee of $25, which applies toward the $100.

Price   Prices and availability of merchandise are subject to change without notice. Price quotations, unless otherwise stated, are valid for 30 calendar days from the date the quotation was issued.

Terms of Payment   Purchase orders are accepted upon credit approval. Terms of payment are Net 30 days with established credit. We accept check, money order, wire transfer, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.

Returns   Contact our Customer Service Department for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) within 30 days of receipt of product. Returned merchandise must be in original packaging and conform to minimum package requirements. Returned merchandise may be subject to a restocking charge.

Order Changes   If the buyer changes the purchase order, then such changes may be subject to an equitable adjustment in the performance schedule or the purchase price.

Cancellation   All order cancellations must be submitted in writing to Coilcraft’s Customer Service Department. Cancellations may be subject to a cancellation charge.

Medical Components   Many Coilcraft components may be used in life support devices or systems. Coilcraft requires written approval from an officer of Coilcraft before it will sell to a buyer for these applications.

Warranty   Coilcraft warrants products sold for a period of one year from the date of shipment against defects in material or workmanship when operated within our catalog specifications. We make no other warranty, express or implied for a particular purpose. Coilcraft’s liability is limited to the replacement or repair, at Coilcraft’s option, of non-conforming goods.

Limited Liability   Coilcraft is not liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the issuance of purchase orders, nor from the non-delivery or late delivery of goods ordered, nor from damages or loss arising from the supply of, or the buyer’s use of our products. Coilcraft’s liability is expressly limited to, and in no event shall exceed the value of the goods ordered.

Force Majeure   Coilcraft shall not be liable for any loss, damages, or delays in delivery resulting, in whole or in part, from Acts of God, strikes, shortages, retooling, delay of carrier, government actions, or any other circumstance beyond the control of Coilcraft in the conduct of business.

Confidentiality   Any designs, technical data, or commercial information supplied by Coilcraft in connection with the sale of goods shall remain our property, and be held in confidence by the buyer. Such information will not be disclosed to others without Coilcraft’s prior written consent.

Patent Indemnity   Coilcraft will indemnify the buyer against any claim that the sale or use of product made to Coilcraft’s specification constitutes an infringement.
