DO3316T Series
High Temperature Power Inductors

  • Designed for high temperature applications – over 125°C ambient
  • AEC-Q200 Grade 1 qualified for automotive applications
  • Very high current ratings – up to 16 Arms; 20 A saturating current
  • Exceptionally low DC resistance thanks to the use of heavier gauge wire
  • RoHS-compliant. 260°C compatible. Tin-silver-copper over copper terminations.
  • Samples of all 20% values are available in Coilcraft Designer's Kit C396

2 Inductance tested at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms using an Agilent/HP 4263B LCR meter or equivalent.
3 Tolerances in bold are stocked for immediate shipment.
4 DCR measured at 25°C on a micro-ohmmeter. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
5 SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 8753D network analyzer. Details
6 Isat: DC current at which the inductance drops 10% (typ) from its value without current. Details
7 Irms: Current that causes a 40°C temperature rise from 25°C ambient. Details
8 Ambient temperature range: –40°C to +125°C with Irms current.

10 Resistance to soldering heat: Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.

PCB washing: Tested with pure water or alcohol only. Other solvents.
