C0984-CL Transformer
for Maxim MAX5074

New RoHS part numbers are shown. Lead was removed from terminations. The second to the last character is now L to indicate RoHS compliance. (View old data sheet.)
  • Designed for use in forward converters with Maxim MAX5074 Isolated PWM Power IC
  • Can be used in Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications
  • Ideal for telecom applications with an input from 36 V to 72 V
  • Very low secondary winding DCR
  • 1500 Vrms winding to winding isolation
  • RoHS-compliant. 260°C compatible. Tin-silver (96.5/3.5) over tin over nickel over phos bronze terminations

1 When ordering, please specify packaging code: e.g. C0984-CLD
Packaging: D = 13" machine-ready reel
EIA 481 embossed plastic tape (200 parts per full reel).
B = Less than full reel
In tape, but not machine-ready. To have a leader and trailer added ($25 charge), use code letter D instead.
2 Inductance is for the primary, measured at 10 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc
3 Leakage inductance is for the primary winding with the other windings shorted.
4 Isolation is measured from the primary and bias windings to the secondary.
5 Ambient temperature range: –40°C to +125°C
6 Storage temperature range: Component: –40°C to +125°C
Tape and reel packaging: –40°C to +80°C
7 Resistance to soldering heat: Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.
8 Electrical specifications at 25°C.
Refer to Soldering Coilcraft Components before soldering.
